What is Search Engine Optimization?

My Background, How I started SEO Tips and Tweaks:

I started this blog on search engine optimization tips so that I can help new bloggers and webmasters who are not familiar or have misconceptions about SEO terminologies or they misunderstood the real aspects of SEO like I misunderstood in the beginning. When I realized this fact, I thought that maybe there are other people with same sort of problems. So I started to gain knowledge on Search Engine Optimization. I read articles, blog posts and books to have a strong grip on this subject. After that I taught my friends who are blogging at that time and it really turned as I expected, me and my friends got great results on the basis of SEO knowledge I gained so far. So I decided to start a blog on SEO to help other bloggers and webmasters who have difficult time in getting organic traffic from big Search Engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo.

Search Engine Optimization:

So back to our main question, what is Search Engine Optimization? And Why SEO is so necessary in present era of Internet, websites and blogs?

We all do SEO to rank well in Search Engines and to have a huge amount of organic traffic to our websites/blogs. In Simple Words “SEO is another name of making small changes and modifications in your blog or websites to make your site search engine friendly.”

We modify or optimize individual parts of our website so that we can rank well on Google, Bing or Yahoo or any other Search Engine, these changes or modifications may seem little or trivial but when combined they have a remarkable impact on your site’s ranking, your site’s user experience and organic search results. May be you are familiar with most of the terminologies that we would discuss in later posts but you may not be getting the desired results. Because every SEO Specialist told us that it would take almost 3-4 months or even more time period to stable any new blog or website. But if we focus on each and every aspect of Search Engine Optimization we can decrease this time period way below the average.

But before we start optimizing our website we should know one or two things about Search Engines because we are dealing with experts who are sitting there as watch dogs only for people who are using or planning to use illegal or unnecessary means of SEO and Forcing there sites to be ranked on major search engines to get organic results.
